Preview button not working

OlaRapaceFru · 26/09/2012 17:59

It happened this morning when you went offline for a few minutes and hasn't worked since. I switched the computer off and went out for a few hours, but it's still not working. I'm on an iMac and using Firefox. Any ideas?

I might add, this relates to adding posts to threads, not starting a new thread (as I've just discovered!!)

Testing testing.

Nope - the Preview Message button definitely isn't working for me.

Yes, I second that report.

  1. 'Preview button' not working
  2. 'Message Poster' not working either

Hmm - sorry, I know this is an unhelpful response, but it's working for me.

Is it still broken for you?

Preview Message is still not working (yup - just tested it before I posted this).

And I think Chaos has complained about Message Poster not working (on another thread in Site Stuff).

I haven't tried PMing anyone though.

Just clicked on 'Message Poster' to Dan as a test, and absolutely nothing happens at all.

They're both working for me (sorry) - I'm using Google Chrome.

I have not been able to use the Preview button at all this afternoon. It was not working a few minutes ago either.

I HAVE to have a Preview button! I need it for my, er, creations. Blush

If it is broken, there will never be another Olympic Podium extravaganza.

I have just re-booted my PC and cleared the Cache.
The problem is still there.

The Cache is disk space temporary holding internet information. See Web cache and Temporary Internet Files
If one clears the cache, this frees up disk space and forces a re-load for the web page.

Is Preview working for you now Talc? Or did you draw that freehand, so to speak? Cos it still ain't working for me. And anyway, it would seem odd that the Cache on all our computers have got too full at the same time Hmm

No preview for me, either, and I would really, really like it back. Sad

Not working, Fru. I winged it on autopilot for the vase.

My creative juices are drying up by the second. Sad

Supermassive - Internet Explorer here too. But I've always used that - it's never been a problem before, some something HAS changed.

nickledaisical - to achieve a non-leaky vase, you have to type Underscore - Forward Slash - Space - Back Slash - Underscore.
