Have noticed on some threads a random word like "work" will be a http link, when I hover over it it will say the link is a link back to the thread Im reading, but when I click on it it takes me to another website.

An example - on this thread http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/a1399789-To-be-worried-about-friends-mental-health#29902630 the word "food" in the OP is a link, and takes me to kgbdeals confused

Is it me or has anyone else had this? if its me how the fook do I stop it?

Hello there,

We think it's you, I'm afraid. Tech says: 'That sounds like she has (inadvertently?) installed a browser extension that turns words on web pages into sponsored links.'
