Hi.

Have just booked some cheap flights to Majorca for easter next year.

We are looking for somewhere, not too touristy, good scenery and beach, a few bars and restaurants. We have primary age children with us too.

Does anyone have any idea where we can stay? Thanks

Alcudia is lovely - really long sandy beach with a promenade, great for evening stroll. Has a tacky style new town bit if that's your thing. A lovely quaint harbor with loads of bars / restaurants etc and also an old town slightly in land that is beautiful and rustic.

We loved it there!

Mallorca isn't that big!

The family friendly resorts are generally further from the airport but still manageable ...

Have a look a Puerto Pollensa... typically about an hour's drive from Palma airport and largely motorway... lovely seaside resort with a harbour, and not many hotels / high rise - mostly apartments and villas...

Or Port de Soller, Valledemossa are both really nice as is Cala st vincenz

Alcudia is very much beach resort so probably a bit too commercial

Thank u for the replies.

Was looking nr the airport for a cheap transfer, but shall look at all the options and try and find a cheap transfer.

Has anyone heard of Colonia de Sant Jordi? it's near Santayini and Cala D'or

I would check that beach resorts are open at that time of year first. We stayed in Palma last Easter, which was lovely, but might not be good with young children.
