Switzerland at Spring bank - things to do and see?

We're going to Switzerland for a week for dh's 50th birthday. We've got 5 days s/c near Lausanne and then 2 days in a hotel in Lucerne, with a trip on the Golden Pass railway to get us from one to another.
Does anyone have any ideas what we can do primarily round Lausanne. DD is 17 and we have a full Swiss pass for the week so can travel around easily. We like walking but not miles and miles, and not mountain-climbing/serious type walks. Also any ideas for eating out - all the restaurants look pretty pricey (hence the s/c but will probably need some restaurant meals, esp. as we arrive late Saturday and the supermarkets seem to be shut on Sundays.)
thanks

sorry been lots of time but only for work, so can only recommend doing as little as possible and spending lots of money on food and wine. so take your credit card! and go crazy in the deli before you get on the train and stock up on snacks and wine, wine and food on the train is purely for expense accounts.

If it is Whitsun you may well find shops etc shut on the Monday too . Supermarkets attached to stations tend to be open though. Tehre are some mountains easy to access from Lucerne - Rigi, Pilatus or Titlis (Engelberg) are worth a trip even for those not really into walking and all have restaurants. You can visit Geneva form Lausanne. Boat trips on either lake.
