Hi,
I need a short haul flight from a Scottish airport direct to somewhere/anywhere for a family holiday with a two year old. Any ideas?

I was thinking France, then Eurocamp but all the flybe flights go via Southampton etc. And I can't face two flights and hanging about with ds!

Many thanks!

Try some of the other airlines? Easyjet or Ryanair maybe?

Try Jet 2 also, they go from edin.

Went with EJ last year for the first time in years with a 2 yr old, they were surprisingly good. Jet2 the year before that, they were also good but they had added a lot of supplements when we looked last year.

What about Portugal? Not too far, no time difference, so no need to adjust routines etc.

Check skyscanner, has all flight details from every airport.

Thanks! Had totally forgotten about Jet2, and will maybe need to get over my hatred of Ryan Air after our last flight with them (3 hours sat on runway!)

Can't remember if its Flybe or Jet2 but we are flying direct from Edinburgh to Dordogne with Saturday flights (woo hoo). Dordogne is gorgeous and there are some nice looking Eurocamp sites in the area, although we are staying in a cottage instead because there are 2 families going.

If you want any further info about the area, then let me know.

Lots of people fly direct to Munich from Edinburgh. Lots of quiet villages and a fantastic rail system.

The airport's website will have a list of flights that leave from there

EasyJet is great, and they fly from Edinburgh.

You can fly to Lyon on Grenoble and drive down to Haute Provence, it is lovely in that area.
