Interconnecting rooms in hotels somewhere sunny

We are looking to book a week's holiday in May. We have two DDs, age 4 and 2. They are both dreadful sleepers and we definitely need two bedrooms, preferably with space in the DDs room for DH to sleep too when he snores grin. Can anyone receommend hotels that do interconnecting rooms or suites (not too pricy though). Hoping to go somewhere where the flight time isn't too long - South of France/ Majorca or the like....

I realise self catering might better suit our needs but I would love a week off from preparing meals!

Thnaks.

Hopeful bump. Am I just asking too much?

From limited experience of looking for holidays involving two bedrooms (either hotel or self catering) - they are few and far between. You are probably better off going into a travel agent and asking them to check as it will never come up online in my experience....

Thanks both. Will go and see a travel agent at the weekend. Will also check out that hotel. Hadn't thought of Croatia.

We are staying in interconnecting rooms at Club med in Turkey, they have lots of options at most of there resorts and have two bedroom family rooms/interconnecting rooms available.

I am always on the lookout for interconnecting rooms. Ones we have stayed in are Egypt - although it doesn't look it from this picture it was actually 2 whole bedrooms, you just walked through one into the other, and Playa Pesquero Cuba which was lovely. For Spain etc, can you not find an aparthotel type complex where you could go half board, so avoid the cooking? We normally go self-catering in Owners Direct villas which have always been pretty good.

We liked this place. The beach is 1 min walk away and fabulous (trees behind not hotels/road!). The hotel has small indoor toddler swimming pool as well as usual outdoor one. Meals are buffet style which we found great. DS 4 soon learned to ask for chocolate milk for breakfast.

Flight time is a bit longer but Princesa Yaiza in Lanzarote is a hotel with 2-bed suites. We went B&B as much cheaper. Also had a kitchenette area in the lounge so had microwave, fridge, kettle and sink. Walking distance to the village which was lovely.

Chia Village in Sardinia, check out Just Sardinia for costs. If you get a family suite it is either 2 interconnecting rooms or its one bedroom on each floor with one room key ifyswim. Great for younger children, with a bus train to the beach, half board food is lovely.
