We are abroad and DC are not in UK curriculum schools. DS is sitting Maths next year. Can anyone please tell me what the difference is between A and B Maths? Do they get a choice? I've searched the Edexcel website to no avail.

Info from one of my home ed groups....
Edexcel iGCSE B is the old O level spec and is normally taken overseas when English is not the first language.

In the UK iGCSE A is normally taken.
Maybe post on the home ed board, somebody may no more.

Edexcel also do Algebra Award Level 2 & 3
which are excellent
not sure how Algebra Level 2 maps on to the iGSCE compared to UK GCSE
DC did these and it made a huge difference
PS dont work for Edexcel
