Hi all i was wondering if any of lovely people could help me? My sister is appealing for a place for her daughter, my niece. She went along to a meeting yesterday, which all the parents where invited to who are appealling for the same school. The head of the school was there and one of the reasons he gave as to why they could accept no more children was that 10 extra places had already been allocated to children whose parents had put in late applications ( after the closing date)as they have siblings at the school. My sister now goes tomorrow to put her appeal to the panel, can she use this point, as perhaps an unfair decision? Any advice on this matter would be greatly received. Thanks.
