Contacting pastoral care at 6th form college

Have name changed from usual to delink from other threads.

DD started 6th form college this term.

How worried do I need to be before I contact pastoral care myself?

I 'sent' DD to see them, but there is a waiting list apparently and they'll get back to her.

low self esteem (worse since starting college)
weight loss (nurse has said not to lose any more)
getting in far too deep too quick with new boyfriend
adoption related issues
not making friends on course
finding work hard
long journey
poor thinking skills normally

IIWY I would have an informal chat with her tutor.

A waiting list to see the onsite counsellor

I would still have a word with the tutor. There may be other support they can offer, besides seeing the counsellor. Maybe something to address her thinking skills, for example.
