Cheltenham college or Malvern College for DD

DD is fixed on a co-ed school, and does not even entertain the idea of a girls school, which is a shame as she is very studious and academica. Everyone agrees she would like to be a day pupil (although this might change as she gets older) and these are the closest schools to us. Any experiences with either of these schools? How are the girls treated? Are they treated with equal respect regarding sports etc. How happy were your dd in either college? Thank you

I thought Cheltenham College was a boys school?

There is also Dean Close in Cheltenham

Cheltenham went co-ed in the early 90s. It was a wonderful school when I was there and still seems it now (I go back a lot for OC events).

The best advice I can give you is to call them both up and arrange a few visits or come along to the public events and see/meet the current pupils, they'll help you and your DD decide which is the best fit for you.

I have seen both Toffee and met the children etc, and both seem excellent, was just wondering if anyone had any direct experience of either, or even of one or the other so we can learn more of an insider's view.
