Dear Mums,

Do you have a child with a stammer? The ability to effectively communicate verbally with others is a crucial component of everyday life, and one which is often taken for granted. It not only impacts daily interactions, but also plays a significant role in relation to the social, educational and occupational aspects of an individual’s life.

I am conducting research into the experiences of adolescents aged 12-16 who stutter, in order to better understand the challenges which they may face in school. In addition to this, I am also looking for any teachers who may have had contact with a pupil who stutters.
