Anyone have any knowledge of it? Have a child in state school (yr 8) and thinking of changing over to private, Rendcomb is quite nearby.

Funny you should post about it someone I know was saying only the other day that her DC's have done as well at their local state school (nearish to Rendcombe) as her friends children did there and that this friend was a bit disappointed, they weren't completely convinced it was worth the money. On a positive notes it is apparently quite caring. She was also saying that apparently quite a few move to Cirencester college for the 6 th form.

Best thing you can do is go and have a look and ask questions of the staff and pupils you meet! Different schools suit different kids (and their parents). It's a stunning setting, lots of extras that a state education won't be able to offer. Very nurturing.
