"Horsey" schools in the south east?

One of our dds is very - emphasis on very keen on riding, and is to my untrained eye getting quite good! She's very keen on going to a school that specialises in riding - been riding for years, which I have no prob with. Can anyone recommend any nearby? Or as near as they get? Thx!

Some horsey girls from my ds prep went to Stonar where they can stable their horses and carry on riding competitively

If ?our prepared to travel to Stonar what about Milfield especially if she's into eventing.

Have a look at St Leonard's-Mayfield School in East Sussex near Tunbridge Wells. Own stables and equestrian centre and competitions etc.

From personal experience, the facilities at Millfield are great, including for those that don't own their own horses but it's the wrong side of the country.

Mayfield is a lovely school. Really worth a look if you are looking for somewhere nurturing, reasonably academic (they pick up some bright girls from overseas but seem to do well by most across the ability range) not too posh or monied, with good art and singing. Plus horses as well.
