Will it be hard to study in Canford School if my DD is not good at sports?

Hello everyone, my DD is 14 and we have been living in Hong Kong for quite a number of years after my DH and i decided to move to HK from England.

And now we are planning to send my DD back to England for her year 10 so we have chosen a few schools, including Canford School.

And we know that Canford School is famous for their excellent results in sports, students there are mostly sporty and good at sports. Luckily, my DD loves sports and she is willing to participate in them however, she is not good at them, eg. she enjoys swimming but she is not fast.

So my question is, will it be hard for her to study in Canford if she is bad at sports?(but willing to join anything)

Thank you

Every school like Canford will have some talented sportsmen/women (I personally wasn't aware that it had a particularly more sporty reputation than others like it, it's not Milfield) but also plenty of keen players who are willing to join in. I'm sure with her attitude she'll be very welcome by the sports dept and will be absolutely fine.

We have friends with DC at Canford, neither are especially sporty but both are bright. We've met lots of their friends & they seem happy, well adjusted and well heeled teens.

The sportiest of schools have plenty of non sporting pupils! These pupils have plenty of other things they can do, eg drama, music, art, etc. Schools always boast about their sporting prowess. Take no notice of it.

Thank you all for replying :)

I actually got the idea from all the praises about the brilliant sports facillities in Canford and the pictures of students playing various kinds of sports activities but i guess you all are right, i am a bit over-worrying, haha.

Phew, i feel way better now.
Thank you
