Let just hope the changes that happen to the school are swift so that they get full entry for Sept 15. One of the big things they need to sort out is the marketing, Dunottar has always been dubbed as Reigates best kept secret.

Nikki Matthews has been remarkably strong during very difficult circumstances, giving great support to girls, staff and parents. And she has been 100% behind the process and made it clear some time ago (albeit privately) that once the school was safely delivered into new ownership for a co-ed future, she'd be moving on. She has dedicated her career to girls-only so on no level would she have been the person for the job going into co-ed.
I'm sure she will take a well-earned break before her next project or role!

Not entirely surprised, although it does call into the question the assertion that staff were 100% behind this. In fairness I doubt this is what the current head expected nor does she have the co-ed experience to gain confidence of parents of boys quickly. Do we know where she is going, maybe it was her choice ?

Following on from the previous thread here, it looks as if United Learning are getting to work swiftly. New head currently being recruited.
