she has always been quite lazy and has been told not to rush her homework. she enjoys what she calls, 'real maths', mental arithmatic and number work. As soon as she sees Geometry, graphs etc she is quite put off the subject.
It means an A or an A* - it is the highest possible prediction for Maths.
Of course there are several factors to consider which might affect any future grades especially as they are so far off: it depends on sustained effort and continuing to progress as the expected pace. If a child gets a bit lazy in Year 8 or 9, they may not reach this target. Also GCSEs are set to change or be scrapped by the time the current Year 7's take them so may not be so easily converted.
