TalkinPeace2 Thu 08-Nov-12 22:21:28

not Quantitative Easing again!

when I posted every day on ebay, a large alternate website had to be known as "the Big River" to stop our posts being deleted!!

gingeroots Thu 08-Nov-12 22:23:09

I guess discussion is not permissable .

But all this monitoring and heavy handed censorship creates a very bad impression .

gingeroots Thu 08-Nov-12 22:25:33

An impression that secrecy is required and that there are things that need hiding .
And it's counter productive as it attracts attention and wets the appetite for information .

TimeChild Fri 09-Nov-12 07:38:43

TSWMNBN is kidding itself if it thinks that deleting threads will shut MNetter up!

DeWe Fri 09-Nov-12 09:27:50

kerrygrey Fri 09-Nov-12 10:25:58

Would the name of a female Saxon monarch come into this somewhere?

PrincessSymbian Fri 09-Nov-12 10:29:16

It's something to do with a school in dulwich...

gingeroots Fri 09-Nov-12 10:31:05

sssh princesssymbian that'll be enough to make this thread go pooff.

PrincessSymbian Fri 09-Nov-12 11:05:14

But surely there are a lot of schools in dulwich?

Erebus Fri 09-Nov-12 18:51:34

Um- absolutely new to this thread but intrigued! Am I right in thinking a certain school is threatening MN with a libel action so MN is pulling threads on it?

And incidentally- I got it via 'the hints' and realise I spend too much time on MN that I have even heard of it grin
