Secondary education

DS2 has a Spanish spelling test tomorrow. I just noticed the spellings he's been told to learn are wrong.

He has to learn the numbers 13 to 31 in Spanish. The numbers and spellings are in the back of the school planners. DS2 said that's where he's to learn them from. He hasn't really tried so I thought we could get up a few minutes earlier and go through them. I've just been planning this, writing them out clearly with space for him to write them. That's when I noticed numbers 19 and 20 are spelled incorrectly. It has 19 as dieceneuve and 20 as Viente. 21 onwards are veintiuno etc...
I've made a note in his planner for his tutor to see, pointing this out.
I just checked ds1's planner and it's the same there.
There isn't more than one way of spelling these numbers is there? Confused

No. They are wrong.

Probably too late for you to read this but I'd give him the correct versions to lean and just write a note in the planner pointing it out.

DD's planner has errors too, such as in the Periodic Table of the Elements.

ooh, that would drive me mental. DC were taught snippets of Spanish in primary & I used to get very twitchy & ranty over correct pronunciation. They don't have option of studying it at secondary, though :(.

Thanks all, just done them with him and gave him the correct spellings to look at whilst I made our drinks, then used this by clicking on the pronunciation after it too. He's worked hard this morning and got them all right Smile fingers crossed for the test. I marked his planner and will ring the school.
I'm always twitchy over the letters they send out. I don't mind some grammar mistakes as I make them but some are so obvious!
