How's the current pastoral care, quality of teachers, academic standard etc. since the new principal came?

From my research the new head is going down very well but there was a poster on another thread that thought things were not going so well and lots of people were leaving. Due to this comment I did my own research talking to current parents and I was totally happy that things have not changed. Of course there will always be changes in due course as every head likes to stamp there own mark on a school but I don't see anything to be concerned about if you are considering it for your DD as I am!

I've seen posts said there are lots of students from Asia particularly Hong Kong, Singapore and Middle East, like 30%. Is this real? And does it cause any concern?

Not a concern for me at all - I think the numbers are pretty typical of most UK boarding schools at the moment. the only concern would come re exeats. I am not worried at all. Why would you be concerned?

Don't do it! Behind the scenes there is a lot of discontent and CLC is about to go through a very rocky period indeed.

Hi Mendip. What makes you say this (have also seen your comment on CLC v WA thread)? What's going on?
