DS (yr11) got his report today. For all his sciences he got A or A* for course work and exams and then did abysmally for his ISA's which ahve bought his grades down to a high B. Yes he gets a chance to redo them but.... Anyway he gets extra time, scribe etc but historically he has never been able to draw very well (his scribe filled in the grid for the multiple choice in yr10).
Basically I guess what I'm asking is how can he practice for an ISA? Are there any top tips? He is very good at using past papers in all subjects and reading the marking scheme to get an idea of what is required but this is beyond me. Ideas please?
