Help GCSE certificates

Posting here on the off chance that someone knows. How do I go about getting copies of my GCSE certificates (that I took eons ago in 1992) when I don't know the examination boards (I do remember them being different boards for different subjects)? I've called the school I went to but of course its half term and this can't easily wait until they're back from half term. Thanks.

Are you in touch with any old school friends who might know which board?

I had to find my alevel certificates like this, try going on the school website to see if they say which exam board they use. You can just ring the exam boards as well and ask them to search but it will cost you, was £30 a certificate for a level and it was going to cost me to ask them to look for it, even if they weren't the right exam board.
If you are desperate it is doable though.

Thank you. I've called the school and they're getting back to me.
