..is anyone else? Dss isnt renowed for his truth telling but we are trying to give him the benefit of the doubt when he says they have not been given them yet. Is he telling us porkies to keep out of trouble or have they not been released yet?

When my DS was doing GCSEs (in the summer of Year 11) he sat the mocks just after Christmas and had the results a week or two later. I know some pupils sit mocks just before Christmas.

Of course some exams are modular so he will probably have some results from them too. Some pupils also sit some GCSEs in Year 10.

are they mocks or modules? modules wil come out in aug with the others

Definately mocks not modules. He sat them after Easter. Think its time to ring the school..Thanks

What year is you DSS in? When DD3 was in year 11 she did her Mocks just before Christmas and I know my nephew did them just after Christmas.She sat a science modular just after Easter in year 10 along with her year 10 exams.

Your child would peobablyu have done GCSE mocks (if final, last year's paper mocks) in December/January...

If they are not mocks, but just end of year/term/ course exams, they should have been done slightly later than easter, several weeks after the summer holiday.

I would imagine he is lying, seems a silly thing to lie about though, unless he hasn't got the self motivation to want to work over the summer and get straight As and knows you will put pressure on him to do so.
