Mature enough to start a family?

Hi Everyone.

My boyfriend and I are thinking about maybe starting a family. I'm 23, he's 25. We both work, but we still go out and like our partying.
We realise some may say we are too young still, and should wait for our lives (and our weekends!) to settle down a bit more before taking on this responsibility, but we feel we're ready.
Anyone else unsure at that age? What did you do?

I think so. I know there will have to a lot of changes, but it will be the best decision off our lives.

i think it is different for eveyone. I had first ds at 18 and feel i was too young, however we did our best and he is now a fab 11 year old, so we did something right!!

As long as you are happy to give up at least some of your social life, you can afford it and have support when baby arrives (nothing to do with your age, it just helps),and you are both committed to this, why not?
