I used to do volunteer work in a charity shop.
Someone donated two Agent Provocateur books - 'Secrets' and 'Confessions'. (short stories collections)

We were not allowed to sell them because of the content, so I took them home. They were a good read!

I like some of the books by Maya Banks. If you like it graphic, she's your girl. There's quite a lot of ménage et-whatever you call them, so if that's not your thing don't bother ;)

i think ive hit a funny time of life

are these books available on run of the mill sites like amazon?

or do i need a more - ahem...specialised site? (im actually tempted to get myself a toy or two to use in conjuction with dh...)

my mojo sort of upped and left and im determined to find it if it kills me! ive very recently found that thinking about sex makes me feel much more like doing it!

I buy them from barnesandnoble.com, I get digital books for my nook. You can also get a free e-reader to read them on an iPhone or iPod touch. You can also buy them in print from the website, but I love digital-nothing incriminating to be found by the curious snooper

You could always visit Literotica.com

Been told it's very interesting...ahem!

Only passing on the information understand..

Can't remember any authors names unfortunately but The Butchers Wife (French author ... aren't they all) was very good.

But the best which I stumbled across after dating a Muslim (Iranian) many years ago is by, I think, an Egyptian author entitled The Almond. It is very erotic ... much like the Iranian man. Very fond memories indeed.

The French woman, Catherine M (book the same name I think) is also worth a look.

Also, if you've any interest at all in paranormal romance, the Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands is very, very saucy several times in each book. And they are quite fun stories, to boot.

Totally Herotica is a volume of short stories by various authors.. I like it but am hardly a connoisseur.

A friend recommended My Secret Garden, I never found it (the book!!) though so can't vouch personally.

Not that I need to visit Literotica you understand, purely for research to pass on to other poor sods who have a distinct lack of 'hows your father' in their lives...cough, cough

Wouldn't catch me reading about things like that.......not saying much, just wouldn't let you catch me...

gonna have a Glenmorangie now...bloody balloon flights been cancelled again..9th time!!

I cant believe that no-one has mentioned Nancy Friday. She has put together some amazing books. People have sent her their sexual fantasies and she has put them into paperback - some weird ones, but some hot ones too

Or you are welcome to come and have a nosy around on my site .

Come on over to the TSA thread on Adult Fiction - tons of smut! You have to overcome the hiccup of it being fan fiction based on the Twilight series (no, stop, come back!) but most of the good stuff is only very loosely based (as in, just uses the same names). Plus, it's all free! I found it v effectively jumpstarted my libido after a failed IVF cycle - now my H doesn't know what's hit him!

I really like Emma Holly, if you want an actual book. Menage and Cooking up a Storm are fun. Or there's a great Black Lace book called 'Up to no good' that's quite feisty.

Penguindreams: Yes, Emma Holly's Menage is good. Cleo Cordell and Portia Da Costa are other very readable BL authors who show up elsewhere sometimes.
