If a man asks you what sort of ice-cream do you like?

Does it mean ice-cream?

Haven't dated for 30 years.... been asked this twice now.

Keep reading about vanilla sex and wondering what these men made of my passion for Haagen Daz Praline and Cream........

I did also say good quality vanilla with clotted cream was good.

i think men usually hope a lady will say they love cornetto's in the hope it means you don't mind, and enjoy practicing giving blow jobs

If it's a code then it's passed me by. But then I am very old. Just say Pistachio. Or Lemon sorbet.

lol

No nipple clamps here. Breastfeeding was painful enough. I like to be cherished not hurt

This was a serious question

Maybe he just wants to take you out for ice-cream? but then, I am very naive and out of touch

If a man asked me that, I would have casually replied "chcolate chip". God help me if it did turn out to be sexually related!

come on solid - I am interested now.
My first thought was Mr Whippy - but think it probably means BJ.

Perhaps it's one of those dating questions doing the rounds atm. It used to be "what's your favourite film/song/book".

Those questions probably got too dull and the topic of choice for winter/spring 09/10 is ice cream.

I like Ben and Jerry's chocolate fudge brownie ice cream. And kinky sex.

Sometimes ice-cream is just ice-cream.

Maybe he wanted to come round with some ice cream and pizza to watch a DVD. Haagen Daz Strawberry Cheesecake for me.

Uh-oh, my favourite Ben&Jerrys flavour is called Chunky Monkey

I've never come across this before but a quick Google tells me "going out for ice cream" is slang for a blow job. An "ice cream habit", on the other hand, refers to occasional drug use.

I'd stick to answering the question with an ice cream flavour. If he means something else, he'll have to be more direct. And a whole lot less embarassing than saying you love giving blow jobs using strawberry flavoured condoms only to find that he really was after your taste in ice cream!

Bloody hell, has internet dating come to this? Would have said Phish food... [naive emoticon]

Oh no- he's probably wondering if you like vanilla sex or chocolate sex!

Once upon a time, a very long time ago, a guy in a disco asked me if I had the time. I said it was half-past eight. He asked me the same question again. It's 8.30, I said. His mate was rolling about laughing, so I said what is the matter with your friend, is he perhaps not English? He said no no, he doesn't want to know what the time is, it's an opening line. He really wants to know if you want to dance. I said why didn't he ask me to dance then? He said, well, do you want to dance? I said no. Can't be doing with silly games. My friend thought I was mad as the bloke was "gorgeous". Pfft.
