Okay I have just spent the morning at my parents going through my life and throwing away old university notes, Xmas cards etc etc.

I have pictures taken of me with an exboyfriend - he was an officer in the army so they are all taken at various regimental dinners, balls, parades, anniversaries etc taken all over the world as well. I would love to keep these photos as I look crash hot in them and in so many different dresses - but as my ex-boyfriend is in them I know my husband wouldn't appreciate me keeping them. I don't want to ruin the pictures by cutting the photos up. ANd it's not as if I am going to frame them and stick them on the wall.

I am sure one day my daughter would love to see these photos.

Would you keep them or trash them?

Keep 'em.

Obviously no having enlargements made and then framing them to hang above the mantelpiece...!

Keep them.

I have some pics of my ex and I at our God daughter's Christening as well as me and him and a friend and him. I can't imagine throwing them away atm but expect they might go one day. Just not yet.

Keep- absolutely. They are part of who you are and even if he did discover them I'm sure he won't mind.

Keep them, one day your daughter will love seeing you all dressed up and fabulous and all the different places.

Cool - I will keep them - I think I am bothered as my husband has no pictures of any ex-girlfriends and I know I wouldn't mind if he did have photos.

Keep - they are pictures of a part of your life. If your DH has a problem with the fact that he's not the very first boyfriend you ever had, then he needs to get help to deal with that.

Keep.

I've just posted on another thread about this too.

We both have 5 or 6 ex's on our FB accounts. No big deal in this house- thankfully.

Keep. Why would your husband care?

Another Keep from me. Does your DH need to know? Unless you intend to show him just keep them in a box somewhere and forget about them.
I have boxes of photos which I sometimes look through when on my own but DP is completely unaware of.
He has framed pics of his ex wife with his dd. Its part of his past and not a problem for me at all.

bloody hell, keep! Your DH would be very unreasonable to have a problem with it. Everyone has a past, it's nothing to be ashamed of. Surely you wouldn't mind him having pics of his ex, it works both ways.
