I'm a member of a dating site. A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by a man who looked familiar to me, once we got talking it turned out that we did know each other briefly ... We both used to take our kids to the same club and his child went to the same school as mine do so I saw him alot around the school. So, although we've never actually spoken to each other, we have 'met' in passing quite a few times.
Anyway, I would never have thought about him in a 'potential date' kind of way before. But I'm guessing I may as well give it a shot?
Thing is, he's wanting to meet up, like ... now. He suggested we go for a coffee and when I 'forgot' to answer the suggestion, he asked me if I'd like to pop around to his house for a coffee. He lives a few streets away from me.
IS it too soon to be going to each other's houses? Am I right to feel a bit uneasy about it?
I would like to give this a go but I'm really not sure how to proceed. any ideas?
