Well that sums it up really. Feel like I should have a lovely 3 course meal for him to come home to (will suggest chippy after picking him up from train station)look drop dead gorgeous (will freshen up of course but just tired to make loads of effort) and should be on top of the world (feel grumpy and irritable)...
It has been a hard week, ds who is 3.5 is driving me mad and has been really playing up, interviewed 8 people today at work (work in jobcentre). Have managed to make house look halfway decent but I just feel like I have nothing left to give...
I don't want to be a lousy wife but I also partly feel well take me as you find me, we are both alive, house and car are fine, bills up to date etc.
Plus, he'll probably want to make love. I just want to sleep and be all fresh and nice tomorrow!!

I'm sure he'll be happy to settle for the chippy and a bit of how's your father!

Meant to say unless you've done it most people don't realise how draining interviewing is. Coupled with having a little one, you are bound to be knackered.

Could you take a bath or shower together - kills two birds with one stone and all that. Also - pounce on him the second you've finished your chips - he'll think it's because he's so irresistable etc etc - but actually you just want to move things along so you can go to sleep Everyone's a winner

Hee hee Northernlurker!!!
Yes brightwell, interviewing is draining.
Ahh, took ds to meet him off train. Felt bit guilty as ds in pjs and dressing gown but it was pricesless when we all saw each other. Ds reaching his arms out and a face of pure joy. Nothing else really matters does it??
Its just good to be together
