hi people just to say our house was cleaned properly today what a bargain... it looks amazing and I don't know why it took me so long to get it done! DH is thrilled too. SO lets see if it helps with other stuff. Oh and for anyone who is sweet enough to recall,my daft situation I am actually having highlights next week and bought 3 BRAND NEW items of clothing since my desperate plea for support! so thanks guys.... will let you know if it all helps me feel more like a bit of rumpy pumpy... ( tho my eldsest is utterly revolted realising we have already done it 3 times... ahhh)

Good for you MM ... I think 'cleanerre' sounds very sexy and French. All part of your new image, I take it?

And, yes, I reckon it would help because you won't have defined yourself as 'the toilet scrubber' by the time hubby gets home from work. I find it very hard to feel sexy when I've been in some completely crap role like that, all day long. I just feel like a drudge.

bless you, good to have the support! How is life for you these days?

Having a cleaner would def help my sex life - i could stop being grumpy with DP for the mess he makes and doing the housework for long enough to want some instead of being tired

That's great!! What clothes have you bought?

OK, this is it.. I have bought a dressless evening strap oops no that was what dh chose ( in his dreams!! ha )actually a pair of white stuff linen trousers and a long ish top and bravissimo fitted shirt ....( yes there is a boob issue too but that's another thread entirely!) That may sound odd but I used to pretty much always get my stuff from charity shops, though I did pick and choose the quality labels and can spot hobbs/monsoon/boden etc from 20 paces!

I am shocked at how much more smiley I feel just cos the level of yuckiness in the house is less and it feels fresher and easier to keep nice! Don't think it will have an immediate effect on nocturnal activities as we are both still whacked and all the other stuff is still there, but it is a start. Eldest dc has now clicked that we in fact had sex 4 times as 1st ds was miscarried.. thinks it is gross. However dc1 is starting secondary sch in sept so I don't suppose this view will last long.

keep up your good work and stay out of charity shops- except to donate your own things!
