ideas for b'day present off difficult inl's

pls help, they will be asking dh soon what i would like & i find it so difficult receiving gifts from them because inl's are so vile and usually i give their gifts to charity. i know it may seem ungrateful but i really wish they would not bother at all but they usually like to spend £40.

Any ideas pls.

Get DH to say you want everyone to instead contribute to your favourite charity? You will also get to maintain the moral high-ground, and save yourself a trip to the charity shop.

Just don't send the vibrator to the charity shop. Could be some raised eyebrows.

Get them to buy you one of these vibrators Lelo Nea - at least if you send it to the charity shop (unlikely) they won't guess what it is .

Oxfam do gifts which contribute to charity work (e.g. buy a goat, etc)... say you're feeling philanthropic and would like people to buy "you" gifts from their list:

Short-cuts the whole process & more of what they spend ends up helping the charity!

Think other charities do similar, but Oxfam seem to have the most variety (including different price ranges).

Has the advantage that you end up looking thoughtful, caring, etc. and they would find it hard to criticise!

Thanks for your messages, think i'll either go for oxfam gifts, they seem brill or rhs membership, but don't know of any rhs gardens closeby though.
