I've not actually accepted yet (but this afternoon I started thinking about guest lists and nice wedding dress styles) - is there a good way to stop myself from being the world's biggest Bridezella or am I doomed to step this path (in my bestest white satin shoes, natch) . Apart from not marrying at all??!!

I don't really know tbh. I had a feeling that he was working his way up to it - we had discussed this in an kind of abstract way recently - and then he just came out with it. I probably did a good impression of a stranded fish at that precise moment .

No he didn't have a ring as he doesn't know my size and wanted to make sure that it was something I'd like.
