Just asked ds who he loved the most and he said:

Jamie (friend at nursery who is leaving this week to go to school )
Sue (Jamie's mum and ds's teacher)
you and Daddy (good to know we were on the list )
Grandad and Grandma and Grandad and Grandma
Kiah (girl down the road who we never see)
Mandy (Kiah's mum, ditto)
Leon (boy he is scared of at nursery!)
Sarah and Emily (girls I used to look after when a nanny who now babysit for ds)
and Daddy (he gets in TWICE )
Gemma (cousin)

"There isn't anybody else Mummy"

quite a motley list IMO

I asked my daughter this the other day.
comes out as
her dad (works away from home so is a bit of a novelty when he is here)
the cat (very attached to the cat but it hates her)
me and her nana (we all live together)
her aunt and uncle (my brother and sister)
her friend
Her grandad (her dad's dad)
my sister's ex boyfriend.

That's about it but it does change from time to time as people come in and out of our life.

I think ds was being a bit random

we have other friends he is very fond of not to mention aunties and things

interesting to see what he said, though

Hmm I will try and remember to ask DS this tonight. I have a feeling I won't get much out of DD.

But DS has in the past mentioned that it "would be better" if he lived with his best friend.

DD1 always answers in this order:
Mummy
DD2
Daddy
D (Best friend)
M (Best friend's brother)

then somewhere mixed in is:

C (Best friends mum)
A (Best friends Dad)
Gran
Nanny & Grandad
All cousins one by one (there are alot of them)
All Aunties and uncles one by one (there are lots too)

whenever dd talks about people (sometimes she just lists people - not quite sure why - hopefully just something 2 year olds do !) this is her list:

Mummy and Daddy
Grammy and Grandpa and Grandma
Uncle and Auntie (she has 3 uncles, 2 of which are married - but only one and his wife get mentioned)
Godmother and godfather and their 2 girls and their dog

then sometimes a few of her toddler friends who she sees most regularly.
