Iv been with my husband for 13 years now although he's a wonderful husband and an amazing father to our 2 little ones, iv never slept with anyone else (met when I was 16) and he hasn't neither.
A few months back I was out on a night out with a friend I got talking to this bloke was a bit flirty but not overly, anyway we had an instant connection and now Im still thinking about him I don't want to but I am! Nothing happened never would cheat.
I'm turning 30 soon and it's got me thinking iv spent my 20s having kids and getting married which I do not regret at all but it's caused me to miss out on crazy nights out having flings etc iyswim?
My question is to u all in long term relationships is it normal to still be attracted to other people and still love ur husband? Is it a sign were heading down a bad path? Also will this feeling of curiosity fade? I know the grass isn't always greener on the other side and I'm soooo incredibly lucky to have my husband i still love him and fancy him but there's still this niggling feeling what would it be like to be with another man!
I just want to know is this normal??

I think it's completely normal to be still be attracted to other people even when a happy relationship with someone you love. I know I certainly am.

It's not surprising you feel like you may have missed out, but how could you 'solve' that without cheating/ending your marriage/or agreeing to a one-off or ongoing open relationship; I have a feeling neither your nor, I'm presuming, your husband would really want to go for any of those.

Romance and sex are generic to some extent; you haven't actually missed out. When you've had enough people, you realise it's all much of a muchness and what matters is being with someone you love and who loves you.
