Hello,
. There has been an incident which happened to me in the past where whatever I shared with my sister has been spread among relatives. Now after 2 years, people still seem to remember the incident and try to keep a distance from me. How do I make sure I am not affected by it and not lose my self esteem coz of it. Kindly help. I cant go n talk about it to anyone anymore.

What was the incident? Who did your sister tell this too? Do you still see her?

Sometimes when you speak to someone. depending how big it is it is hard for them to keep it for themselves. It clearly did upset you though...and it is affecting your relationship with your sis.

Families do tend to share info. Im a middle child and tend to tell on both to each other sometimes, which is totally normal. Without knowing what the incident was it's hard to answer your OP.
