He called the doctor and police and ambulance came. He's 24 I'm 350 miles away but my DH is with him

I can hand hold. Have you spoken to your DH since he got there?
If they have medical help that's the best way to get him support but must be awful for you waiting so far away

Have they offered follow up support? If not I'd be getting your DH to investigate what can be done locally.

He's going on ADs and I've encouraged him to seek counselling. He's not good at talking about his feelings like all the men in the family

He's not been doing anything He did a degree and a masters and got himself completely burnt out

My DH talked to him for 4 hours today DS cried a bit and hugged DH and said he loved him Maybe this is a turning point

Ah I see. God you've all had a rough year of it. Hopefully you don't need to stay at the farm long and can head back (I'm a city girl so would be of nouse to anyone on a farm!)
