Where to look, as in specific sites, etc. she is a young 62, slim, attractive and takes care of herself, still works full time, children grown up, well educated and travelled, and she wants to meet someone. My parents divorced nearly 20 years ago, and she would now like a significant other. Trouble is, when we have a quick look, all the men seem old, boring and fuddyduddyish! She doesn't want a toy boy, just someone who is interesting and funny! So if the yes's are:- times or telegraph reader, sense of humour, self sufficient, grown up children, want to travel more, well read.... And the no's are:- guardian reader, baggage, settled into retirement, short sleeved shirts, ....... Some of that is tongue in cheek and meant to be light hearted, but you get the gist!! Where should she be looking? She lives in Wiltshire, and works in Bristol, but is happy to travel a bit to meet someone. Any ideas ladies?

ClassicFM dating, Times dating and Telegraph dating spring instantly to mind!

Like a woman of any age, she will have to sort the wheat from the chaff - and believe me, there's a lot of chaff! She might view 100 profiles and only like 5 of them - but that's normal - after all if she met 100 men through work or socialising, she would probably only like a small number of those!

It is hard work. I'm 50 and I'm finding older men so old!! Even 52 year olds seem old. I'm on POF and get no response!!! God I must be rough! :-)

I've no experience at all to be honest but what about e-harmony?

She could also try meetup.com.
Join a couple of groups of interest and meet like minded people that way!

The meet up website looks interesting, but she socialises a lot, just that most events she goes with couples. This year she's been to Henley, the opera, up to London for a show and dinner, to Stockholm for a week to see my brother, etc. it's just the actual dating thing that's a problem. I will look at e harmony too, although I have a feeling she's tried it once, although probably half heartedly! Wink
