Home alone at Dp's place he's still at work. Making tea and just seen under all the clean tea towels a photo frame face down In the draw. Now clearly its an ex ...my question is would you have a mischievous sneaky peek or just let it lie? Could you resist?? Grin

ImperialBlether · 27/04/2015 17:36

No, I'm afraid I couldn't resist, but I think you should!

confusedoflondon · 27/04/2015 17:40

I have I know me I'd think I'd be all light hearted about it but I bloody wouldn't Grin

ImperialBlether · 27/04/2015 17:47

At least it's face down and not an A3 poster on the bedroom wall!

NightsOfGethsemane · 27/04/2015 17:54

No you shouldn't look.

Why are you rummaging around in his tea towel drawer?

Nayville · 27/04/2015 17:55

Oh absolutely, I could never resist Smile

What's she like?

PutWittyUsernameHere · 27/04/2015 17:59

No way could I resist! I would never ever let him know I had done it though. He probably chucked it in a random drawer when he split with his ex and has forgotten about it.

GaryBaldy · 27/04/2015 18:01

Of course I would I'd also be tempted to rummage further but I know I would get flamed for admitting that

ShirleyYoureNotSerious · 27/04/2015 18:08

You're in his house? Not one you share together?

If it was hidden away in a jointly owned home, if he was more than the boyfriend I could understand your interest. I'm not sure I'd look even then. But in his own home, a photo hidden away (at a guess one of someone he's fond of but has had the tact not to rub it in your face?) no, I wouldn't look. What a person does/has in their own home is not for me to go nosing into.

Crinkle77 · 27/04/2015 18:17

I would have a look. It's not like you have been snooping in his bedroom. They are stashed under some tea towels. Hardly well hidden and bit of an odd place to hide a photo frame of his ex. Maybe it isn't his ex maybe it's just a picture that he doesn't like and just stuck it there cos he couldn't think of anywhere else to put it.

confusedoflondon · 27/04/2015 18:19

I'm not rummaging I'm making tea and was just looking for the tin foil . I'm not looking at it I only assume its something that would make me jealous so for once I am practising restraint Grin no drama Smile

Nayville · 27/04/2015 18:22

Why would it make you jealous?

confusedoflondon · 27/04/2015 18:53

The usual Nayville , he is absolutely not entitled to have loved nor indeed looked at another woman before me Grin

OMG deffo sneaky peek in view if location........

confusedoflondon · 27/04/2015 19:14

crinkle you're probably right its probably just a picture of a cat or something Grin

SylvaniansAtEase · 27/04/2015 19:16

OP if he has a framed photo of a cat hidden face down in a drawer, you probably have bigger problems on the horizon than a foxy ex Grin

SlightlyJaded · 27/04/2015 19:17

Years ago, I was at alone at a boyfriends house when the postman knocked with a parcel addressed to boyfriend. It was one of those long cardboard poster tube things and only had a teeny bit of tape holding down the plastic lid.

I was nosey curious, and assuming it was going to be some kind of art print/cool festival/band poster type thing, had a peek.

It was a fucking massive poster sized photo print of his ex girlfriend sitting on a swing.

I left it on the hall table with a note, and went home.

He was a dick anyway.

Fragglewump · 27/04/2015 19:19

If he did this to me I'd be a little affronted but I would definitely not be able to resist the urge to look. I know I'm crap - it's one of my human flaws nosiness!

confusedoflondon · 27/04/2015 19:19

slightlyjaded that has made me laugh! Grin

I'm surprised no one has suggested it could be his wife....he's playing you... And you should dump the cheating bastard after you've cut up all his clothes!! GrinGrinGrin

MadamG · 27/04/2015 19:21

I'd look!

ThatBloodyWoman · 27/04/2015 19:21

I'd look at a photo as its just an image.I'd be curious.
A diary or letters I wouldn't.

Definitely look, why wouldn't you?

confusedoflondon · 27/04/2015 19:22

To be fair he is far nosier than me and openly looked in my cupboards etc in the kitchen first time he ever came round (like a kid just home from school wanting their tea Grin ) so if he's done that in front of me I've no doubt he's had a rummage at my place whilst I've been out

newbieman1978 I know, same!! Grin
