Does this / would this bug other people?
As trivial as it is, it really upsets and annoys me when my DP says he'll call before bed and then doesn't! Most of the time he does and it got to a bit of a routine thing. But today, he called on his way home from work and had to drop the call and said he'd call me later - and didn't. I texted to say goodnight not long ago and he replied with I love you's and telling me he'd been wrapping presents and fiddling on the computer... So he could have called like he said he would.. But he didn't, and still didn't
