Borderline abusive relationship?

Is there such thing?
And how do you recognize it and is there a way to stay in the relationship and make it work?
What are the signs? I have read about the signs of emotional abuse but what if that left you feeling unsure?
Any links are welcome too.

'Borderline' is in the eye of the beholder. When you're being bullied, there aren't many ways you can make it work. You either tolerate or you don' tolerate - there are no half-measures. Some people put up with appalling treatment and stick around. Others have a lower threshold and get out much quicker.

If you're in the early days of a relationship I would recommend this link entitled Are you Dating an Abuser?

If you're unsure, ask yourself if you feel happy, free to talk, supported, encouraged, respected, relaxed, valued, admired .... loved. Anything less than that and, even if it's not an abusive relationship, it's probably not a very good one.
