Hello all,
JUST A WEE BIT OF GOOD NEWS & ENCOURAGEMENT
Have posted my situation under various threads before seeking advice but just to surmise:
Jan 2013:
Met "wonderful" man online dating...
May 2013:
GOT ENGAGED!
Left Scotland (inc job, flat, parents, friends) to pursue life in London with too good to be true man following whirlwind romance, flowers, engagement, diamonds etc. (with plans to re-train)
THEN: found self unemployed, in emotionally abusive relationship...
Oct 2013:
Got job down here (trying to make "it" work!)
April 2014:
LTB on basis that no future for relationship - (he thought that working away 5/7 days was normal and not even worth discussing, that finances should remain separate, he didn't want to actually get married...kitchen surfaces had to be OCD clean and I was too fat) ie
I MOVED OUT AND LEFT THE BASTARD!!! (Having give it my best shot).
JULY 2014:
Sat professional exams which (if i pass!) mean I can stay & work here (in England) if I want to. Ie I'm doing it for MYSELF (no DCs) and not "us".
He still texts me although, weirdly, of all days, not on the actual day of the exam. Which he DEFINITELY knew the day of. Phoned me afterwards from his work phone and when I returned call, he had his "work voice" on.
SISTERSSSSSS ARE DOING IT FOR THEMSELVVVVVES!!!!
Anyhoo, all comments, thoughts, encouragements, hellos, etc are welcome. It's a scary, scary path living in London on one's own but it's also a brilliant opportunity. ISN'T IT?!!!
I WANT MY MUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love
Kirsten
