Who would play your DP/DH in a film?

Bit of fun.
Who would you cast as your partner or husband (or wife) in a film.

My partner would have to be played by Alan Davies (complete with duffle coat) or that bloke who played the Facebook creator in The Social Network.

In my eyes - I would be Drew Barrymore but that's neither here nor there. So.,,,, how about yours?

DH is a silver fox, so it would have to be George Clooney, who else!

Python here too: Graham Chapman. He'd be perfect. If only he were still alive.

Either Simon Callow (DH has a big booming voice), or Tim Robbins (DH is the thinking woman's crumpet, to me, anyway).

If you are going for real life, Ray Winstone with much less hair and a Northern accent.

If you are going for fantasy, Yul Brynner even though he's dead, or Bruce Willis Grin

Neil Morrissey if we go on looks Grin

Steve Coogan or Rob Brydon (specifically in The Trip) for the personality.

My ex h was a dead ringer for Marty pellow, back in the day. Current DH.... Hmmmm. Medium height, stocky, short beard, very high forehead indeed with sticky up hair like a bog brush. Can't think of anyone who looks remotely like him. I'm aware I'm painting an attractive picture but he's a handsome devil in his own, unique way....

In real life, Beaker and I would be played by Miss Piggy in a dowdy wig. She'd get an Oscar, a bit like Charlize Theron for her performance as Aileen Woronos.

In my fantasy it would be David Tennant. Similar size and build, similar eyes..... after that he'd have to rely on acting talent

Sorry. To clarify. I meant who would play your actual RL partner.... Not a fantasy. Otherwise obvs it would be Mr Clooney.

Lol @ Basil Fawlty.

My DP is also a silver fox, so it'd have to be George Clooney. Although my friends also told me when we first stared dating that they thought he looked like a cross between Brad Pitt and Brian Cox!

I'd never tell him, but my DH does bear a (superficial but undeniable) resemblance to Rake Yohn from Jackass. He is better-groomed though!

And certainly an improvement on an ex of mine, who resembles Meat Loaf circa Paradise By The Dashboard Light!
