Just went to post on my other thread but it's full already!

I'll attempt to link it but I'm on my phone so probably won't work.

Excuse the cheesy title, my brain won't work. Just going to read last few replies on old thread.

Have you got a table and pasting brush etc ?

Planning is the key thing I keep two rolls on the go because it minimises waste when matching.

lots of guides on the net. It's really rewarding doing your own DIY

SaF. I agree totally re tools. wink

LoserNoMore Sun 05-May-13 23:44:18

I have all the right tools, just don't know wtf I'm doing with them. I check out the link tomorrow, thanks. I've watched ex wallpaper, I have an idea.

CabbageLeaves Mon 06-May-13 08:55:26

It'll get easier as you go along. Have you got a spirit level or plumb line to start you off on a true vertical. Measure the width if the wallpaper and plan your edge to end in sensible places. Don't end in a corner. They are never 'true'. Make it wrap just a little and then trim to fit where you want it to.

Gosh LNM he really is a complete arsehole! I can't believe her said you haven't given him a choice but to move in with OW. If he really wanted you back he would be bending over backwards. I know this has to be so mentally draining but you are doing so so well. You deserve a medal

Stay strong

Ive managed to get a tad red from the couple of days sun we had - I am so Scottish. wink

Loulybelle Tue 07-May-13 17:39:52

Hey LNM,

Hope the weekend has been nice for you and you arent covered in paste and in a huff with the wallpaper.

I met a guy online and within 6 days, he started blanking me, so i hate men right now grin

lazarusb Tue 07-May-13 19:35:05

Loulybelle - he clearly has no taste. Unfortunately arseholes are many! You'll get a nice one soon smile

Loulybelle Tue 07-May-13 19:41:07

Lazarus, my friend says all men are arsholes, just some men less than others and shes been with her fella for 8 years. He seemed so keen on me, texting me at half 7 to say good morning now to nothing.

LoserNoMore Tue 07-May-13 20:59:29

Hi! Well the wallpaper is still in the boot of the car, I'm just going to get someone in to do it, I can't be arsed.

In othe news, gotthe all clear from sexual health clinic grin phew! And.. I have an interview for another job on Friday, a total change from what I'm doing but something I've always wanted to do. Fingers crossed and praying to all the Gods!

Loulybelle Tue 07-May-13 21:00:35

LNM, im crossing everything for ya love, glad your all clear too.

LoserNoMore Tue 07-May-13 21:08:57

I'm extremely happy today, it was so hot and sunny, it's so much easier getting out of bed when the sun is shining. Got up at the crack of dawn, done a washing, hung it all out, kids up and ready and we all sat in the garden before work/school, picked kids up after work, had a lovely dinner outside. Didn't even think about ex at all which is the first since he left. Then I called clinic for results and got the call about the interview . Ahhh I love good days!

Sorry that guy was an arse loulybelle sad

Loulybelle Tue 07-May-13 21:14:39

Meh, LNM, he aint no loss, i was fine before he was around and im fine now he aint.

PyroclasticFlo Tue 07-May-13 21:18:07

Yay grin great news LNM! Will be praying to all manner of gods and goddesses and crossing fingers and toes on your behalf for the job interview. Well done you! Really, really wonderful news on all counts (especially not thinking about ex), have some flowers and a large glass of wine from me!

LoserNoMore Tue 07-May-13 21:29:30

Thanks Flo, prayers to all gods and fingers, toes and eyes crossed is what I need.

Exactly loulybelle, I hate time wasters. What's the bloody point!?

CabbageLeaves Tue 07-May-13 22:10:43

Crossing toes, fingers and my eyes for you LNM.

Lovely sunny weekend-red nose (giving Rudolf a challenge) to remind me that its sun cream season

Dog being sick and a hen dying in the garage. Apart from that, all calm here hmm

LoserNoMore Tue 07-May-13 22:13:10

Oh god cabbage, animal madness! Hope they are ok. Animal vomit is one thing I can't handle

Areyoumadorisitme Tue 07-May-13 22:47:52

Great great news LNM. Very best of luck with the interview smile

JaxTellerIsAllMine Tue 07-May-13 23:21:34

I will be keeping everything crossed for you on Friday LNM. Glad you have decided to GSI - Get Someone In. That is what I do - no DIY, causes far too much friction. grin

cabbage you are having a right old time at the moment!

off to bed now, been a busy bee today and sure I will pay with back problems tomorrow.

CabbageLeaves Wed 08-May-13 07:26:23

Dog stopped vomming. Hen alive. All a false alarm. I think

see! universe is on your side and bringing things in grin

i'm not a god person really but like the adage about how your hands need to be empty for god to give you what you're meant to have (i replace god with the universe). if you're clutching onto things not meant for you or that you've outgrown and should let go of you can't be given the new that's right for you. because you've let go when it was right to more can come in in my humble and slightly woo-ish opinion.

CabbageLeaves Wed 08-May-13 08:12:57

I like that analogy SAF It is scary letting go of anything. I had a good job, one that I'd spent years nurturing career wise and it was niche. I needed to move on for a number of reasons but couldn't see how because it was a job goal I'd pursued for so long and thought I'd specialised so much I'd blocked off any chance of a different career. Got over my emotional attachment and my lack of confidence, fear and negative view ...left it and never looked back.

Husband leaving was the same grin

There was a thread on here titled something like ' nothing can drag you down when you are not holding on'
Love that title!
