My husband is obsessed with his willy

Have name changed to save embarrassment.

I have been with dh a long time and we are happily married. However, he has always been slightly obsessed with his willy. This has been slightly irritating over the years, but I have learnt to ignore it (his obsession not his willy).

Anyway, I have found out that he has been going on sex toy websites and had purchased false willy covers of different sizes, which I think you wear over your willy to make them look bigger. He has then been wearing them at sporting events under hs cycling shorts!

My dh has a completely normal willy, it is not small and perfectly fine. He is a good looking successful man.

I don't know why this has irritated me, but the thought of my dh cruising sex toy websites, ordering products, having them posted to work rather than home and then wearing them when I am not with him, is strange. He then puts pictures of himself in his enhanced cycling shorts on fb.

I really don't know if I should be annoyed or not! What do you think?

Oh my life. When I see a lycra clad meat and two veg I always wonder why they can't tuck it in.

Posting it on Fb is plain odd!

He he - "here we go with his willy again!" grin

Sorry not being very helpful here, I agree you should try to talk to him (nicely, without irritation) and figure out exactly how bad is this obsession.

Good luck and keep the willy covers if you find them, hopefully you can have a good laugh later

Splattered my drink everywhere laughing at "lycra-clad penis" and am now having to try to turn it into a dodgy coughing fit so that nobody asks me what is so funny.

Branleuse Tue 12-Feb-13 13:44:24

i think we need a picture of your dh in his cycling shorts tbh

Branleuse Tue 12-Feb-13 13:46:07

I think I know why he throws them away after use......

<boak>

It really is a genuine post.

I think it is more about attention seeking then insecurity. He is not embarrassed by his willy and often gets it out, when I don't want to see it. We have 3 sons too...I really hope they don't go the same route.

It's just bloody irritating that he takes the willy obsession too far! Whose benefit is it for? Certainly not mine! I know the true size!

We have spoken about it and he is v embarrassed. As he should be, but I just wish he paid me as much attention as he does his willy.

I think he's on an ego trip...

Oh lord. I had managed to brain bleach that picture from my mind...... Why did I click on it again?!

purplecarebear Tue 12-Feb-13 13:55:06

I thought all men were obsessed with their size tbh. My partner is always asking if i think hes 'big' enough. wink but never heard of these sorry but it did make mesmile

Bran, that is GROSS shock [yuk]
OP, the posting on facebook, is so ott, its exhibitionist. That has to stop. Immed!!

Falsey Tue 12-Feb-13 13:57:07

He doesn't just post the willy pictures on fb (obviously not just his willy but the whole of him). But there he is standing by his bike proud as punch!

He really is a catch though. Attractive, kind and generous.

He did say that he didnt compete with it on as it would have been too uncomfortable!

Do I just let it go? What is he doing on the sex toy websites anyway? We havent used toys for a long time.

Oblomov Tue 12-Feb-13 13:57:21

OP, all you posts seem to be joking about this. But actually it really isn't funny, is it? Maybe you should take a more serious stance on this.

Falsey Tue 12-Feb-13 14:03:16

I'm not joking about it. It would be hilarious if it wasn't my husband. I go between laughing my head of at it (especially to the responses on here), to thinking I wish dh would just let the willy thing go.

As I said this willy thing has gone on for a long time. Now it's resorted to enhancers, I've bloody we'll had enough of it.

There's nothing wrong with browsing the sex toy website if it's to add something to your sex together.

On a serious note, I would find it odd that he needs to bolster his tackle in order to present a different view of himself to others.

SayCoolNowSayWhip Tue 12-Feb-13 14:05:19

Is your DH Terry Wogan?

Oh good lord that photo Bran!

It's just wrong.

On so many levels...

Branleuse Tue 12-Feb-13 14:09:35

i might save it as my new desktop background

lottiegarbanzo Tue 12-Feb-13 14:11:00

Hmm, well I think women do look at men's bits but not consciously. Studies have shown this, I believe (amusing tracing images of face / package focus in conversation).

I notice but I don't think they're attractive or that what you see is all that inductive of what lies beneath, so not very interesting.

Some men seem to assume that because they are so interested in visual stimuli, women are too and that we respond as indiscriminately to them as they do but they usually grow out of his when they get to know a woman or two. However, stimulus is one thing, flaccid penii are quite another!

Grown up men obsessed with male sexual imagery, including their own, do tend to be gay.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles Tue 12-Feb-13 14:14:26

So you do have sons, I know we're all having a giggle but honestly OP don't you worry a bit about what message your DH is going to pass on to them about attitudes and body image?

lottiegarbanzo Tue 12-Feb-13 14:14:52

Have you asked him who he's trying to impress? That would be a far bigger concern to me than where he's buying this stuff from.

Falsey Tue 12-Feb-13 14:15:34

I really don't think he's gay/bi. He has never given any inclination and is def more interested in women. I do think he thinks others notice willys, when really I rarely give them a second thought unless they are so obvious they can't be missed.

So what to do? Just ignore it?

Falsey Tue 12-Feb-13 14:18:47

My ds have no idea about dh obsession thank goodness!

Dh is quite metrosexual. Takes care of himself and looks good. Maybe a bit of an attention seeker. He s an only child.

lottiegarbanzo Tue 12-Feb-13 14:19:31

Ask him which woman he's trying to impress. I would.

Falsey Tue 12-Feb-13 14:19:45

I think he's prob trying to impress women, but also men too.

peeriebear Tue 12-Feb-13 14:22:22

I'm just grin at 'it's a great willy!'
