we have two children already nine and four and i am on the mini pill and we both knew two was plenty for both of us..
but im 11 days late with my period, my last was kind of like the end of a normal four day period for me which lasted two days only,
i didnt even realise until last night when i went on to my calender as i thought it should be coming any min, and bang 11 days late.
i am shiteing myself if im honest, not that my dh will go mental or anything but i know if i were i would not consider an abortion, so i knew it would be definate it would happen.
im going to wait a few weeks and if there is still no period then i will do a test,
im starting to feel really tired all the time and my breasts have been sore from time to time but id put that down to the pill.
feels goos getting it off my chest tho, i just hope im just late is it possible i could be just late? even 11 days?

Sounds like POAS situation. No point worrying or guessing is there?

Why not just take a test right away? Otherwise won't you have weeks of worry?

It could just be late, stress, the pill, all sorts of things can affect your period.

It is normal on the minipill for periods to go astray, but it depends on the minipill.
I used Micronor and went ages without periods.

I'm on a different one now and have mild periods, although on time.

If you are already 11 days late, maybe you should test now anyway.

Why on earth wouldn't you test now? Tonight? Go out to the shops now and get yourself a test and then you won't be worrying.

I don't understand why you didn't get one as soon as you realised you were late.

You need a pregnancy test now. No point in waiting. It will tell you one way or another.

It is not unusual not to have a missed bleed on the POP. if taken correctly within the 3 hour time limit-it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant

You need to test

It is possible without being PG. Happened to me recently Sad POAS is the only answer though. Have no idea why tha one was so late but been irregular ever since.Confused

I'm a month now with no period, use micronor, peed on 7 sticks expensive habit all negative.

May be age? I'm mid forties

With Micronor, I hardly got a period over 4 or 5 years of use.
Just the occasional very light bleed.

Hi, thanks for you comments, I'm getting what seems to be a period, only thing is is do watery and light I bearly need a pad as its more like a staining after I pee sorry a bit tmi,,
I told DH and he was fine, making jokes about it,,,

I'm taking it to be the pill, I've been reading up about it and ceresette can make your periods all over the place and unpredictable,

I wanted to give it time in case I did get my period, hence the not poas.. Also had to buck up the confidence to tell DH before hand..

Pee on a bloody stick!! Light bleed or discharge is normal in early pregnancy.

My period used to like to sometimes be up to sixteen days late and my body would join in by making me feel crappy and icky...so used to keep a stash of test sticks for those moments of panic and they were always negative...you wont know till you pee on a stick!

You need to POAS regardless just to rule.it out.

I'm on cerazette and haven't had a period for a year. it's normal, as are your symptoms.
unfortunately the only way you'll know for definite is by doing a test. best sooner rather than later finding out I think.

I just started back on cerazette - started taking it when my period started and had bleeding 2 weeks later .. didn't have this the last time! In fact had no bleeding the last time - I was hoping for no periods again ever so hoping it will settle down

Hi guys thanks for your comments,,

It's all gone a bit Pete tong again, I've just the tail end of a period know, yano that brown gooy stuff at the end? Shock Well that's it basically, told DH to grab a test but he's suggested to go the docs, which will prob take a month to get an appointment so
ill just pick one up tomorrow whilst on my daily travels for Friday morning they say the first pee of the morning is the best time to do it.. ?

If I'm being honest I think I'm over the worrying,, suppose there is worse things in the world than a baby.. I suppose this is also due to DH reaction to it.. Smile

Thanks for your advice guys will let you now the result...

The goo can be a symptom of early pregnancy... or a symptom of a miscarriage. It really depends which angle one is googling from, iyswim.

I am sure your GP has a system where one can call at 9am on the dot and get an appointment that day. Plus, GPs believe you if you say you've had a + test - they don't routinely re-rest to double-check.

My doctor's don't have that system, kalidanger. By 8.05 you have no change of an appointment. The line opens at 8.

Hi, docs only have an emergency appointment available, I'm not classed as an emergency..
