He's about to propose to me - How do I act surprised??

Ok a few months ago I made a cosmic order for my boyfriend to propose to me before the end of the year. It hasn't happened yet and I'm not seeing him tonight so obviously it will happen either tomorrow night or NYE as he's staying with me both these nights.

I don't want him to know his proposal was cosmically ordered so I'll have to act all surprised when he does it, even though I know what's about to happen!

Any tips on acting surprised when you're really not? I'm so excited Grin

erm. can I ask and please don't take this the wrong way, I'm only asking cos I really can't tell.

Are you joking about cosmic ordering? Do you know through other means that he is going to propose? Or do you mean that he will propose because you ordered it through the cosmos? Or are you joking about the whole thing?

Why act surprised? I think it will be far more romantic if you tell him this afterwards.

What happens if he doesn't propose?

I'm being serious, I've been cosmic ordering for a while and they always deliver.

I'm thinking it will be NYE because he specifically asked to spend the night with me and said he didn't want to go out as it would be "Noisy" and he wanted to special time with me.

I kind of believe in cosmic ordering but I really hope you have more to go on than just that.

Has he dropped any hints or done anything to make you think he may pop the question?

And if your cosmic order doesn't work??? Are you to blame him or the cosmos?

OP, have a really good think and do your cosmic ordering malarkey and tell me what the winning lottery numbers will be, eh?

Report
CapellaMa · 29/12/2012 17:40

It will work, there is no question.

Not much else to go on other than he's hinted NYE will be special despite us not going out.

What if he's been cosmic ordering a new girlfriend?

I hope you haven't introduced him to the magic?

What else have you ordered? Genuinely curious...

I really hope this works for you. Personally, I think it sounds like a load of old cobblers, but I remember those events when I'd worked myself up waiting for a proposal then being disappointed. In the end the proposal came when I least expected it. I hope it works out for you.

I would order chips with tzatzki, my favourite drunken snack but hardly anywhere seems to sell them like that.

This is one of those things I genuinely want to try and understand.

Could you give us an example of how it's worked in the past?

Just hug him really quickly and tightly so he cannot see your not-shocked face.

And you have to tell me when this happens.

Why don't you just propose to him if you want to get married? Confused Seems a bit weird to cosmically order someone to do something not that it works.
