New to dating - we're all in it together!

Thought I'd start a new dating thread for anyone who hasn't been following the ups and downs of the regular "huffy illiterate men" (love that title!) crowd. We can learn from them, but I'm getting a bit confused about who's who, so thought we can start from scratch with a load of new abbreviated dating disasters.

Who's in?

Why not just join that thread? They are really friendly and new people dip in and out all the time. If you want to know a backstory to make sense of something somebody has written they will give you a quick potted history.

I did join and posted a couple of things, but they all have such convoluted back-stories that I feel a bit like the new kid at school!

I know what its like when you've built up friendships with posters over several threads, you do welcome newbies, but its not the same and you have all the abbreviations and shared experiences, so I thought there was probably room for another dating thread for anyone who hasn't yet become jaded by the fun and games and still has hopeful optimism that there are indeed Plenty of Fish!

I started the original dating thread, new people join it all the time and are more than welcome! Just jump right in and keep posting.

Just jump In :) if you post regulary you will soon get to know people, or if you post less frequently, just for advice, thats great too :)

We are on thread 21? 22? Now... Lots of people have come and gone :)

Come and join us on the Huffy thread! I am a relative newbie on there, just kept on posting and reading and now I know erm well most of what's going on! Even if it's hard to know all the back stories, don't worry, you will get lots of support and advice and that's what's needed in my case at least.

BTW I am not yet jaded, only being doing this two/three months and am feeling quite hopeful about a guy I'm going out to dinner with tomorrow . . .
