Not Quite There but Celebrating Anyway

Do come in, welcome. Just a little get together to celebrate my impending change of marital status, during the process so many MNetters have been such a help. Thanks

Have been cleaning the house with v little help from the 2 other members of the household, stbx and DD. Still, never mind I've done it, have a gathering of about 10 people here tomorrow for a meeting and sandwich lunch. Only problem is I need to go shopping, luckily we have a nearly 24hour Asda.

So can you all get started without me? There's lots of Brew and Wine, do help yourself. Need a hand with the decor, too. And anyone got cake?

I'm here now! We have a little Asda 5 mins away, walking, and one 5 mins drive. Great for emergency wine emergencies. You ok Pink?

I made lovely cakes yesterday...have an ancient Delia Smith book, throw everything in together, whisk it, and then put in those little paper cases so I don't have to wash up as much decorations care of Dr Oetker and it looks like I've been slaving away when I haven't. Cake is lovely when its freshly made. Should have saved some! Sorry you had to clean up without much help Pink.

Hi Pink. Congrats!!! Will have to see if they still sell divorce hats anywhere for you.
Hoping that this is to be the fresh start you need and deserve.
I'm sure I have lots of chocolate and nibbles about for the party. :)

Ok. Pink went to Asda at 2045...at what point do we call the Police to report her missing?

Am back, took longer than I thought, as I am a very slow decision maker and am costing the catering :) Sorry haven't been much of a hostess.

Am knackered, still got to do a bit of cleaning in the morning, plus make the sandwiches. But I think I'm on track, chanelling Alex Polizzi Grin

Can't decide on a cake, don't actually want stbx dead Sad. Just - not living here Grin Brew
