New life - new haircut???

Now that my husband has left I have the urge to get my hair cut from a longish layered style to a sharp bob

Has anyone else made a change to their looks after a split? Did you regret it or did it give yu the oomph you were looking for?

Have lost 2 st since Sept (when he left,) had hair cut into a short, layered bob, feel and look great! Can't give Dickhead eye contact, even though it was his affair, etc, so no idea if he's noticed. Who cares, I feel gooood!

Oh yes, do it! Think you would find it very freeing and it is only hair which will grow back.

Had my hair chopped into a short style years ago and never looked back.

Just before I packed in smoking I dyed it from very light blonde to a reddish brown colour simply because I really wanted/needed to see a completely different reflection in the mirror.

Which helped me to see myself in a different way (helped with the smoking)

Weird but true for me :)

It wouldn't be modest to say :-)

I've already lost almost a stone with the trauma of the lies this year so I am happy with how I look and I'm delighted now!!

Glad you are pleased. I think it also sends a message out to your ex that you have changed, you're not the person he thought you were. It shows confidence.

I had the problem of my hair being really short before so getting a new hairstyle has been an extended process. Wish my hair grew a little quicker.....

Well done Kirsty! There's nothing like a good hairdresser to cheer you up and send you on your way to a new happy life. I know it is a cliche but it's true. My hairdresser, a bloke, has been wonderful to me. It's as good as counselling. He will get a nice bottle of wine when my Absolute comes through.

My hair is growing :) And I did like it short, just wanted a change. Possibly should have considered wig for a little while though...
