Ex has been married for 6yrs but still interferring in my life

The ex was a serial adulterer and ended up going off with some woman at work. They are now married and are expecting their first child, but ever since my daughter has been going to his house which is once in a blue moon, he always manipulatively questions her about my business. She has not got the grasp yet of not discussing my business with him, its almost like the &@>% has her over just to get information about me and I hate that. Question is I'd like to know why he's still in my business when hes married and has business of his own to tend to. When we split things were far from amicable then as time went on I allowed myself to see that the best way forward was for our child to see us getting along- which was hard!!! He then became nasty when he realised that I had someone else (even though we have now split) Around three months ago we had amassive war of words and my child has not heard from him since-wot a twat!!!!!!!!! (why thats a reason for him to not contact hes child is beyond me)Some say his new wife may be the one who does not want my daughter around etc. Has anyone had a similar experience.
