I cut off my wedding ring today. Ive tried to remove it a few times in the last 3 weeks since I found out about H's infidelity but Ive put on too much weight. I was going to wait until I had lost weight but decided I couldnt so I now have a sore finger and a ruined ring. The ring means nothing though as all the promises he made me when he put it on my finger he has broken in the last two years!

Good for you!

I have never had a ring, felt obliged to explain this to my divorce solicitor, as she is used to her female clients having removed theirs - though don't know why I felt obliged.

Scrap value of ring??

minuscule. We were skint when we got married. I just want him to take it with him when he takes the rest of his stuff. Its daft but it feels important

It is possible - have done it twice (once me, once him) - but now realise he is a cocklodger (love that word), and am finally ending it.

Must go to bed.

Well god knows one of us need to grow a pair lol. Still love him but thats not enough - I need someone who loves me too. If she really wants a man like him she can have him. I thought he was me soul mate but if one reallty exisits he's still out there and regardless it's definitely not him
